We Good?

WeGood Ventures is the exploratory vehicle for the projects of Yemi Rose, a financial health entrepreneur, strategist, and writer deeply immersed in questions about the intersection of work and money, with a particular focus on those left out of wealth-building systems.

Yemi is the Founder of OfColor, a bold financial health platform that provided financial coaching and fintech tools tailored specifically for workers of color. Drawing on nearly 20 years in financial services, including roles at Prudential and BlackRock, he built OfColor to empower underserved communities through workplace-based financial solutions. Known for his innovative approach to economic equity, Yemi positioned OfColor as a vital resource for corporate partners aiming to promote equity within their workforce, prior to its acquisition by Financial Finesse Inc.

He writes and speaks extensively on economic equity, and his work has been published in The Washington Post, Fast Company, Business Insider, Essence, Time Magazine, Black Enterprise, TechCrunch, BenefitsPro, The Root, Blavity, Employee Benefits News, and Money.com. He is the author of the forthcoming book But Not Too Black (2026, Wiley).

“Millions of underserved citizens, who don’t know each other, did not all JUST coincidentally make the same financial mistakes. These are system-level issues that require system-level solutions.”
